Dance Chance is a community of people who utilise dancing to overcome the social barriers of disability.
Dance chance is a weekly dance class for people with a disability, dancers are aged 5-50 and have a range of intellectual and physical disabilities. The dancers are joined by a group of dedicated volunteers who support and guide the learning, as well as becoming great friends with the dancers.
Through the joy of of dance, our classes provide people with a disability an opportunity to enhance their health and fitness, build friendships, social skills and confidence and feel connected to a community.
Get involved in our February Fundraiser
This February we want to raise much needed runs to keep the organisation going through groups of friends getting together and celebrating the love in friendship and your community by hosting a respective 'Galentine's Day' or 'A night of Bromance'.
Created by the legendary Leslie Knope, Galentine's Day is traditionally held on the 13th of February. It's a day when girlfriends get together and celebrate ladies being ladies! We're asking our fearless female friends to hold a Galentine's Day event in support of Dance Chance.
A NIGHT OF BROMANCE
We don't want the guys to miss out, so we're asking the boys to get together and celebrate the joy of bro-relationships, all in the name of Dance Chance.
You can host anything from a beach picnic to a night of dinner and dancing - get creative!Get involved here
